Metabo is a company that has its origins since 1923. It was then that Albrecht Schnizler constructed the first hand drill. Today, the company employs over 2,000 employees, of which only 1,200 in the German town of Nurtingen. 25 subsidiaries and 100 representative offices around the world ensure that Metabo products reach the furthest corners of the world.

Metabo batteries are reliable and very efficient. Thanks to this they are very popular all over the world. The company has approximately 700 patents and protection rights. It offers products targeted at the construction and renovation industries, as well as other industries.

A brief historical outline of the Metabo brand

Initially, the company was called Schnizler GmbH from the name of its founder. She produced tools that quickly began to enjoy great popularity. In 1929 the company changed its name to Metabowerke GmbH. Already then the company began exporting its products to England. It soon increased to around 80% of total turnover. In the 1930s, the company employed almost 150 people. World War II brought her great losses. In 1945, 75% of its production facilities were destroyed in a fire. However, after the war, Metabo began to grow very quickly. Already in 1960, the company employed over 1,000 people. All this thanks to innovative production methods. The Metabo brand has been present in Poland since 1992.
